You know that feeling when your belly gets a little swollen or larger after eating? Well, that is bloating. And it is really common! ?️⠀

There can be some foods that can cause this, and that doesn’t mean that they’re not healthy! Keep that in mind. ?⠀

1. Apples, full of antioxidents and fiber but can cause bloating for some because of the digestible culprits. ⠀ ⠀
2. Garlic, contain fructans that are in the FODMAP category and can cause bloating.⠀

3. Potatoes, are starches that for some can be hard to digest and therefor cause bloating. ⠀

4. Barley, which can often be found in cereals. It does contain gluten that can cause problems for some!⠀

5. Beans, are full of good carbs and protein. Most beans contain certain sugars that will escape your digestion and can make you bloated. ⠀

6. Onions, a source of something called fructans which are fibers that can cause bloating. ⠀

7. Lentils, these are just like beans full of carbs and protein but again also contain those sugars! ⠀

8. Dairy products, these are really nutritious and great for your protein and calcium intake but there are a lot of people who can’t digest lactose which can be found in milk. ⠀

9. Carbonated drinks, this is common to cause bloating because of the gas you consume when drinking it. ⠀

10. Cruciferous vegetables, like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and Brussels sprouts. Cooking them makes it easier to digest them.⠀
