Here’s some examples of foods containing 30g or carbs. As I said with the protein post the other day, there’s obviously plenty of other carb sources, so use google to look them up! 😅


Now whilst every individual requires different amounts of carbs, personally I never restrict my clients from having them (unless they actually have to for some reason!) and I never restricted myself from having them on my Stag Shred. Look at the results of that 😉


Carbs are an energy source and in my view, necessary for active people, especially those who weight train hard. They also help grow muscle, if that’s your goal, and spare lean body mass, when on a calorie deficit. This is vital, so you don’t end up losing weight, most of that being muscle mass and look like crap! That’s not good at all 🙈
