Since I posted 3 meal ideas for breakfast yesterday, I decided to make a graphic for dinner as well.
These can also be consumed for lunch if you don’t want to eat them for dinner.
The meals are highly customizable and if you use seasonings and spices, they will taste great!
When I have a ‘main’ meal, I look to consume some sort of protein and veggies.
These will help keep you full due to the protein content and fiber content.
If you are struggling with hunger, try opting for more nutritious foods and meals like the ones above.
When we ‘eat whatever we want’ we tend to have low energy and it is harder to reach our goals.
If we track our calorie intake and ensure that we are in a calorie deficit, we will see results and the results will speak for themselves.
If you are stuck in a plateau, you need to do an audit on your eating habits and see how many calories you are eating!
If you are serious about losing weight and transitioning into a healthy lifestyle, I highly suggest that you do an audit on your eating habits and try to cook more nutritious and ‘whole’ meals like the ones above.
You don’t have to eat meat, but just know that meats are higher in protein and they are fairly affordable at your local grocery store.
My favorite protein sources include: chicken, lean ground beef, ground turkey, shrimp, greek yogurt, cottage cheese
My favorite carb sources include: rice, potatoes, beans, bulgur, oats
My favorite veggies include, but not limited to: asparagus, broccoli, bell peppers, onions, zucchini, carrots.
