Bananas can be mashed and applied directly on the skin. Or you can even make a face pack with banana, honey and lemon juice. Mash a ripe banana, add a teaspoon of each, honey and lemon juice to it. Apply The face pack for 15 to 20 minutes before washing it off with cool water.

It also helps in faster healing in case the skin has faced trauma like sun exposure, bug bites etc. Besides keeping the skin hydrated,aloe vera also improves the skin elasticity. Scrape out aloe vera pulp from the leaves and apply it directly to the face and leave it to settle for 15 to 20 minutes. Then rinse it off with lukewarm water.
